SYMPOSIUM “Study and Research in Germany” - 23rd January 2010 at the Goethe-Institut in Accra
Offered by the DAAD Information Center Accra in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Accra and the German Embassy the symposium will provide detailed information on all issues concerning studying and doing research in Germany as well as on DAAD scholarship schemes. International degree courses that are conducted in English as well as language proficiency requirements and German language learning opportunities in Ghana will be presented. Information on the student visa application procedure will be given by the German Embassy’s Head of Visa Section.
All SSSC and WASSCE holders, students and professionals are welcome to attend the symposium free of charge on Saturday 23rd January, 2010, 10 am (prompt).

Monitoring and Evaluation of Malaria: Workshop
University of Ghana-Legon, Ghana

June, 2010

USAID’s MEASURE Evaluation Project in partnership with the School of Public Health, University of Ghana and the Ghana National Malaria Program is pleased to announce a Monitoring and Evaluation of Malaria Workshop in June, 2010 for professionals in Anglophone Africa. Participants will acquire knowledge M&E fundamentals as they specifically relate to malaria programs and gain hands on experience in designing M&E plans.

German Embassy awards German DAAD Scholarships

In 2009 DAAD awarded scholarships to more than 15 Ghanaian students to pursue various International Degree Programmes at German universities. The DAAD is the major German organisation running more than 200 government-sponsored programmes in support of academic co-operation and exchange between Germany and abroad. Worldwide, per year more than 55.000 international and German students and scientists are sponsored by the DAAD.
