The main aim of the DAAD Information Centre is to provide information on Germany as an excellent study and research destination, to offer consultation and support to students and researchers who would like to study as well as to do research in Germany, and to promote cooperation in many areas such as academic exchanges for students and staff, research stays and interactions between Hong Kong & Macau higher education institutions with their counterparts in Germany. Germany offers a great variety of degree programmes of high academic standard, cutting edge technology and advanced research facilities. Nevertheless, tuition fees remain competitive on the international standard as education is considered to be a top issue by the German government.

Talk on " Germany- Your destination for Study and Research " , German Swiss International School

Date:	24(Thur) Feb 2010
Time:	11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Venue:	German Swiss International School

There will be 2 session, the morning session at 11:00 a.m. is for students from secdonary session. The evening talk at 7:00 p.m. is for the paretns. Students and Parents who are interested in studying in Germany and would like to obtain more information about the education system are welcomed to the talk.

Talk on " Germany- Your destination for Study and Research " , The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

Date:	25(Thur) Feb 2010
Time:	2:30p.m. - 3:30p.m.
Venue:	Room 4001 Career Centre Function Room

The talk will be divded into 2 sessions. Session I: 2:30pm to 3:00pm Postgraduate Study in Germany, Session II: 3:00pm to 3:30pm Research in Germany. All students in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology are welcomed.

Talk on " Germany- Your destination for Study and Research " , The University of Macau

Date:	3(Wed) March 2010
Time:	11:30 am- 1pm
Venue:	L 105

Students from the University of Macau are welcomed to join the talk. Information on BA, MA and PhD study opportunities in Germany will be shared.

European Higher Education Fair 2010 (EHEF 2010)

Date:	13 (Sat) - 14 (Sun) March 2010
Time:	1p.m. - 6p.m.
Venue:	Exhibition Gallery 1- 5, Hong Kong Central Library, Causeway Bay

Higher education institutions from Europe and Hong Kong will present their undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. This year is our 10th anniversary, more than 50 institutions from Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Finalnd, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, UK, Spain, Holland, and Hong Kong have joined the fair. Visitors are weclomed to joing the seminar and language leanrning sessions at the Fair! Ms. Fiona Yuen is going to be our speical guests in the opening ceremony on the 13th March 2010.
