European Research Council in Hong Kong : Funding opportunities for top talent
The ERC funds the best researchers and their innovative ideas with up to €3.5 million per grant. In the upcoming ERC competitions, nearly €1.8 Billion (HKD18 Billion) will be available for both early-career and senior researches from anywhere in the world. More information will follow on 9 July (see ERC website). Set up in 2007 by the European Union, the European Research Council aims to stimulate scientific excellence in Europe by encouraging competition for funding between the very best, creative researchers of any nationality and age.
