European Higher Education Fair 2010

Higher education institutions from Europe and Hong Kong presented their undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. This year is our 10th anniversary, more than 50 institutions from Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Finalnd, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, UK, Spain, Holland, and Hong Kong have joined the fair. Visitors are weclomed to joing the seminar and language leanrning sessions at the Fair! Ms. Fiona Yuen was our speical guests in the opening ceremony on the 13th March 2010.

There were 2 sessions, the morning session at 11:00 a.m. is for students from secdonary session. The evening talk at 7:00 p.m. is for the paretns. Students and Parents who are interested in studying in Germany and have obtained more information about the education system are welcomed to the talk.

As the 10 th anniversary of EHEF on March 13 – 14, 2010 will focus on the growing potential of study and research collaboration between Hong Kong and the European countries, this reception will give you an opportunity to network, meet colleagues and learn more about the rapidly changing European university landscape. Representatives from Hong Kong government, European Consulate General, local universities, international schools were invited.

The Education Expo Macau provided students in Macau with the opportunity to get useful information in studying overseas. The last expo had taken place in the Venetian Macao-Hotel-Resort and had attracted 2,800 visitors. Visitors were mainly secondary and unviersity students. The Education Expo is one of the several fairs, in which the DAAD Info Centre participates on a frequent basis. For the students who were interested in studying in Germany, the expo was definitely a chance, which could not have been missed.

AIESEC-LC-PolyU organised an event – "Leadership Without Borders 2008" on PolyU podium. Profile of famous leaders from various countries were on display to give students some insight of global leadership. There was also an exhibition of foreign cultures. The DAAD Info Centre made use of this opportunity to meet its target students in the PolyU.
