Interesting PhD opportunities for Social Sciences Bonn Interdisciplinary Graduate School for Development

Reserach (BiGS-DR) at Universität Bonn, Zentrum für Entwicklungsforschung (ZEF) - Center for Developing Research.

The programme is an initiative to provide a high qualification to upcoming young scientists engaged in political, social and natural sciences, economics, ecology, agriculture and management of natural resources.

Research is being done in the fields of:

  • Political and Cultural Change
  • Economics and Technological Change
  • Ecology and Resource Mangement

This doctoral programme is part of the DAAD funding scheme "Development-Related Postgraduate Courses, Educating Professionals for Sustainable Development"

DAAD will run orientations for applicants to PhD scholarships. If you are intersted, send us an email (info@daad.org.pk) stating with the subject line "Orientation PhD at BiGS". We will let you know about the time and date of the next orientation session.

 

Agricultural Economics and Related Sciences (Justus-Liebig-University Giessen and University Hohenheim)

Candidates with higher M. Sc., or M. A. scores/grades in agricultural economics, economics, environmental science, natural resource management, rural development or related degrees within the social sciences are eligible to apply for the program.
