DAAD - TUM Asia Speaker Series
“Sustainable Transportation – For Urban Cities”, 6th October, 3 to 6pm

of international studies the upcoming Speaker Series will address the challenges and possibilities of green transportation.

Please register by 5th October under http://tum-asia.edu.sg/speakerseries/ and http://tum-asia.edu.sg/speaker-series-sustainable-transportation/

"Study in Europe" Study Fair, 1st October 10am - 5pm, Pensinsula Hotel

Nations from around Europe will be represented at an educational fair at the Peninsula Hotel on Saturday 1 st October as part
of the Study in Europe programme. This fair will seek to connect Singaporean students with universities in Europe and provide
them with all the information they would need about institutions they might be interested in studying at, applications and even
scholarships. It is hoped that this will enable Singaporean students to connect with opportunities in Europe that they might not
have been able to access on their own. It is also focused on dispelling many of the assumptions that international students might
have about studying in Europe, such as providing information about the many universities in continental Europe that teach in English.

***The DAAD will hold a presentation about studying in Germany at 12:30pm, please join us!***

RISE worldwide 2017

RISE worldwide is starting the next round: For summer 2017 we are again asking for internship offers giving German
undergraduate students the possibility to intern worldwide.

Research groups, laboratories and doctoral students from all over the world can apply to host a motivated and well-qualified
student from Germany as a research intern to assist with a proposed project. Students participating in this program come
from the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering, medicine, or a closely related field, and receive a
DAAD scholarship to help cover living expenses and travel costs.

Internship projects can be submitted online at
https://www.daad.de/rise/en/rise-worldwide/offer-an-internship/submit-an-internship-offer/

from September 1, 2016
to October 15, 2016.

Between November 1, 2016 and December 15, 2016 the database opens for the German students and each student may
apply for up to three internship projects. The prospective hosts are then asked to provide DAAD with their quality assessment
of the applications for their projects.

Please forward the program information to the interested networks of academics, alumni and anyone else who might be
interested. Please do not hesitate to contact us (rise-ww@daad.de) if you have further questions or need more material.

Please find a flyer with information about the program HERE
